I apologize for the lack of posts lately, but I have gotten quite sucked into the Song of Ice and Fire series, but do not fret, I will keep posting. Recently I tried Chatham Brewing Company's first attempt at a winter seasonal, and while this beer is not bad, the recipe needs to be tweeked. The initial taste has a slight mocha flavor and it has a very rich feel, but the flavor is a little lacking. The after taste was kind of weird, I can't quite convey what it tasted like. I can say that this season I will not be trying the winter again, but hopefully next year they will have improved the recipe. As for now though, the rating sits at
